Liza Minnelli has cancelled her upcoming summer (14) shows in Europe due to health problems.

The 68-year-old Cabaret star has axed a planned concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in July (14), as well as three more dates in France and Holland, on doctors' orders.

A statement posted on Minnelli's website reads, "Liza Minnelli's physicians have advised her not to perform or travel for long periods of time because of a medical condition. As a result, her concerts in Europe, which were scheduled for July, have been cancelled. We are discussing rescheduling dates at an appropriate time. Liza wants her fans to know she is devastated not to be able to perform right now but will see them soon."

No more details about Minnelli's health crisis have been revealed, but she is said to be resting at her home in New York City.
