Lindsay Lohan hasn't let probation and ongoing community service dampen her career aspirations, indeed her modelling stock couldn't be much higher at the moment with the star becoming the new face of Philipp Plein's latest fashion line and then being paid a reported $1 million to strip off for a nude pictorial in Playboy. However her acting career hasn't quite received the same resuscitation following a series of poor roles after finding great success as star of 'Mean Girls' in 2004.
A role playing the late actress Elizabeth Taylor was set to be the stepping stone back towards acting glory, Lohan apparently being approached to play the star in a biopic that'll detail her fiery marriage to fellow actor Richard Burton. However, it's come to light that she's not the only name in the frame, with Megan Fox now also being revealed as a frontrunner to play the much coveted role.
"I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox," said Larry Thompson to E! Online, the executive producer of Lifetime's 'Liz And DICk' going on to add "It's a very serious selection, it's like casting for Hollywood royalty." Lohan'll be hoping that the decision will be to give her a chance to head back towards regality, though with over two months more of her community service yet to be completed that may come into consideration.
