Lindsay Lohan has insisted that she was not responsible for the trashing of a movie trailer used by Elizabeth Taylor during the filming for Cleopatra, despite what the trailer's owner says.
The owner Angel Alger, who bought the lavish trailer for $50,000 in June this year and agreed to loan it to Lifetime producers during the filming of the Elizabeth Taylor biopic 'Liz and DICk' during the summer, claims that LiLo is responsible for more than $100,000 worth of damage in the trailer. Taylor used the temporary lodgings during the filming of the 1963 epic Cleopatra and although she is yet to attain any proof as to who is behind the damage, Angel was quick to point the finger at Lindsay, who had regular access to the trailer both during and after shoots. The damaged caused to the trailer includes countless cigarette burns, broken dishes and glasses, and several priceless antiques going missing - including an old European rocking chair and a French telephone. Alger is demanding that all the missing items be returned and that someone foots the bill for all the repairs that will be needed.
However, Lindsay's rep Steve Honig has since hit back at Alger's claims, saying, "Lindsay had nothing to do with it. It's an absurd story."
