Lindsay Lohan's unpaid $46,000 bill from Chateau Marmont has landed her a lifetime ban from the Beverly Hills hotel, reports The Huffington Post.
"We're not commenting on anything to do with Chateau Marmont," Lohan's representative explained, and when further pushed for comment, he confirmed that they would never comment on the subject. Lindsay Lohan had enjoyed a summer of hotel living on the sunset strip, and is certain that the sour end to her glamorous and expensive accommodation is down to a simple miscommunication. She was under the impression that the producers for her latest film, Liz & DICk, would cover the tab. After the bill was obtained, it was revealed that charges included $686 for 49 packs of cigarettes and $3,145.07 for the mini-bar. "It appears that a private correspondence between Chateau Marmont's general manager and Miss Lohan was leaked by a member of her entourage," the hotel said in a statement. "We are as horrified, disappointed and troubled by this occurrence as Miss Lohan surely is. Obviously, this is a private matter between one of our guests and the hotel and we will continue to treat it as such."
This latest controversy marks a turbulent week for Lindsay, even by her standards. The actress, singer and socialite was implicated in a $100,000 jewellery heist, but it has recently been confirmed that she will not face charges. She now has to deal with the police regarding a car crash that occurred last year, and faces charges of perjury after she claimed she had not been driving.
