Lindsay Lohan is back in favour with the producers of John Travolta's mob movie Gotti after dropping out of the project.
The Mean Girls star agreed in principal to star in the John Gotti biopic last year (11) and appeared at an event to launch the film, but deal talks broke down and she moved on to Elizabeth Taylor project Liz & DICk, which she has just started shooting in California.
However, Gotti producer Marc Fiore tells he's still hoping to land Lohan as the mob boss' wife Kim Gotti.
He says, "We don't have an agreement with Lindsay. That is correct. Lindsay does not have a contract. But right now, we're not in the phase of doing casting. I still have every intention of speaking to Lindsay about the role of Kim Gotti. There's no truth to Lindsay being out of the film."
And asked if Travolta's recent tabloid massage scandal has prompted him to reconsider the casting of the movie star as mob boss Gotti, Fiore adds, "Of course, John is still playing John Gotti. The media doesn't scare me."
