Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is so delighted with the group's new guitarist MIKE SMITH - he wants the band want to write a whole new album.

In a posting on the band's official website, Durst says the "energy" and "vibe" in the band's rehearsal space is "absolutely amazing" and promises fans they'll have new material ready by the summer (03).

He says, "The chemistry with our new guitar player Mike is so dope that we are spending the next couple of weeks writing a new album.

"We have a guitar player that is going to bug you out. The songs are out of control and I'm on a f***ing mission!!"

Smith made his live debut with Limp Bizkit earlier this month (APR03) at the WRESTLEMANIA XIX event in Seattle, America.

Durst continues, "The 19 songs we wrote without Mike are still amazing and sitting on the shelf waiting on me to do whatever the hell I want to do with them."
