'Smile' singer Lily Allen's new vintage clothing store Lucy in Disguise won't stock maternity wear, despite the fact the pop star is four months pregnant.
Lily Allen's vintage clothing store won't stock maternity wear.
The 'Smile' singer - who is four months pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper - has launched boutique Lucy in Disguise with sister Sarah Owen, but despite her growing baby bump, the pair have decided not to sell items specifically for pregnant Women.
Sarah told BANG Showbiz: "We've got a lot of stuff that's really good maternity wear, empire lines and things. If a pregnant woman came into the shop I know exactly what I'd hand her to wear. But I don't know if I actually like the idea of maternity wear. I've not been pregnant but I think I'd want to still feel like a normal woman."
Lily and Sarah partied with pals including La Roux, Professor Green, Daisy Lowe, Jaime Winstone, Vanessa White and Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays at the store on Kings Street, Covent Garden last night (16.09.10).
Despite their celebrity guests, Sarah admits she is more worried about members of the public visiting the store - which rents out vintage clothing as well as selling it - than famous people.
She said: "I'm excited about the first day of trading on Saturday (18.09.10). Lily's the creative director and I'm the managing director. While the launch party is probably a big night for her, because it's about the image of the clothes, I'm worrying about whether we will sell anything.
"We don't all hang out in this big celebrity gang! Obviously we know people in the industry, and Lily knows people in the industry, our mum known people in the film industry. We haven't started marketing it to them yet, but I'm sure Jaime Winstone will come in and use it."
During the evening, which was in conjunction with the launch of PlayStation Move, Lily and Sarah even played on The Games console.
Watch the pair battle it out on the new PlayStation Move in the 'Making Of', the first Lucy in Disguise film.
