Pop star Lily Allen is to present her own TV show based on the social networking site that helped her launch her music career. The Smile singer, 22, will present the BBC Three programme introducing chart-topping bands, celebrity guests and unsigned acts to an audience made up entirely of her 'virtual' friends from MySpace.com. Audience members will have exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and will be invited to choose unsigned acts to be featured on the show. Allen says, "I'm so excited... it's something I intend to have lots of fun with and I have some great ideas." BBC Three controller Danny Cohen says: "I'm delighted... she's one of the hottest acts around and an important voice of her generation." The series is due to start early next year (08).
