The police have quizzed British pop star Lily Allen about the alleged assault of a male photographer outside a club in London.
The pop star appeared at a police station yesterday to answer questions about the incident which took place outside Wardour club in Soho on March 13th.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said the 21-year-old singer would appear before the police again in July.
"She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return on a date in late July," the spokesperson added.
Ms Allen launched her career through social networking site MySpace which allows users to upload music onto their personalised pages.
She topped the charts last July with her debut single Smile and she also performed on the main stage at the recent Glastonbury Festival.
Ms Allen is set to perform at the Concert for Diana which take place at Wembley stadium on July 1st. Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart and Kanye West will also perform at the event which will mark what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday.
