Pop star Lily Allen is thrilled with the restraining order she won banning photographers from harassing her outside her London home - because it's given her her life back.
The singer was a top target for the city's paparazzi, who gathered in droves outside the house she shares with her mother and brother.
After a number of clashes, Allen sought legal action, and won a court order that keeps the intrusive snappers at bay.
She says, "It's been a few weeks since I had this court order in place I've had a really nice time. I can go out to the park, meet up with my friends for coffee. I kind of got my life back in a way."
But she quickly discovered the order doesn't protect her outside the UK, during her current trip to California.
Allen says, "When I landed in Los Angeles, I wasn't expecting it and I got outside and there's thousands of photographers. I was like 'Oh, here we go again.'"
