Lily Allen is worried her fans and critics have forgotten she is a singer - because she usually makes headlines with her turbulent personal life.
The pop star told British TV host Lorraine Kelly she wants to receive recognition for her albums rather than her wild antics - just a day after she was photographed mooning fans in a skimpy negligee at a London gig.
She tells U.K. talk show GMTV, "I don't need publicity. It's difficult as you want people to appreciate you for your music.
"People get confused and think you're a celebrity (and not a singer) and that's quite hard for me. People can be quite cynical. I feel I'm overexposed."
