Rapper Lil Wayne Is No Longer Facing A Lawsuit Over Unpaid Legal Fees After Bosses At A Law Firm Dropped The Case.
The Lollipop star, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., hired Michael Kramer and his team in 2014 to fight a string of legal battles, including an ongoing case over alleged unpaid fees against his mentor Bryan 'baby' Williams and his label partners at Cash Money Records.
In a lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court in New York last week (ends25Dec15), Wayne was accused of failing to settle the debts for almost a year, prompting Kramer to sue him to settle the $375,239 (£250,159) dispute.
However, Kramer subsequently filed papers to dismiss the case without explanation just before Christmas, according to TheJasmineBrand.com.
Wayne did not respond to the lawsuit.
