Rapper Lil Wayne Has Been Declared The Most Profane Artist In Music History In A New Study.
Musixmatch researchers Varun Jewalikar and Federica Fragapane analysed the Lollipop star's 12 album releases and found Wayne used an astounding 3,960 swear words, with "n**ga" named as his most frequent obscenity, followed by "b**ch" and "f**k".
His penchant for swearing places him ahead of the late 2Pac, who used 3,724 profanities in his studio releases, while Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, and T.I. round out the top five, reports AllHipHop.com.
Jewalikar and Fragapane also examined the frequency of bad language in songs by the most-searched artists in each music genre on Google, with hip-hop tracks featuring the "highest swear word count" and "most frequent use of swear words".
Chief Keef was identified as the worst offender, spitting one obscenity every 20 words in his lyrics, followed by Dr. Dre and his former group N.W.A.
