Liam Neeson is in talks to star in 'A Million Ways To Die In The West'.

The 'Taken' actor is reportedly considering a role in funnyman Seth Macfarlane's upcoming western spoof alongside 'Gangster Squad's Giovanni Ribisi, who also starred in the 'Family Guy' creator's debut comedy flick 'Ted'.

Seth, whose latest stint was hosting the 85th annual Academy Awards last month, will to direct and star in his film as Albert, a cowardly farmer who turns down a brave duel and is then dumped by his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried).

After gaining the help of a dangerous outlaw's wife - played by Charlize Theron, who Seth mentioned in his 'Boob song' at the Oscars - Albert ends up falling for her and must fight off her violent husband (Neeson) to win the heart of his true love.

Giovanni is set to star at Albert's shoe repairman friend Edward, who tries to get back on the dating scene while his girlfriend works as a prostitute, happily sleeping with everyone else other than her own partner.

Seth is reuniting with 'Ted' team Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who have co-written the script, and filming is scheduled to begin in May.
