Liam Gallagher is to make his debut as a solo artist at a London charity concert next year (17).
Editors at Britain's Music Week magazine report the Britpop icon will perform at Bush Hall on 28 March as part of next year's Give a Gig Week series of concerts in aid of the charity Youth Music. Jess Glynne, Tom Odell and rapper Plan B are also on the Bush Hall bill.
Confirming he had signed a contract with Warner Brothers Records UK to release a solo record earlier this year, Liam said, "Very excited to be signing to the mighty Warner Brothers. Looking forward to making some super sweet sounds. Keep the faith."
Organisers of Give a Gig Week are encouraging bands around the U.K. to stage concerts between 24 and 31 March to raise funds for Youth Music, whose staff run musical projects for disadvantaged children.
In addition to Bush Hall, other London venues hosting concerts for the fundraising push include the Shepherd's Bush Empire, The Bedford, The Roundhouse and Hard Rock Cafe.
Charity bosses hope more than 100 charity concerts will take place in total.
