Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is to step in front of the camera in the forthcoming Beatles movie he is producing, according to the director.
The British rocker is working on a big screen adaptation of Richard DiLello's book, The Longest Cocktail Party, about the last days of the Fab Four at their Apple Corps record label.
Gallagher will also get a chance to show off his acting skills after landing a role in the film, according to director Michael Winterbottom, who is best known for his 2002 hit 24 Hour Party People, about the Factory Records music label.
Winterbottom says, "Liam will have a part in it. He's all over it. It's about the mad chaos of Apple, so it's not dissimilar to 24 Hour Party People... I've met him (Gallagher) a few times. He seems like a nice guy."
