The Ace of Spades singer was joined by former Guns N' Roses stars Slash, Duff Mckagan, Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke, and well as rocker pals Billy Idol, Sebastian Bach and Zakk Wylde.

Slash celebrated his pal's milestone birthday on Twitter.com, writing, "Awesome turnout for Lemmy's bday party the @TheWhiskyAGoGo Great crowd. Great musicians. Good times!"

Lemmy wasn't the only musician celebrating a birthday in the city on Sunday - Taylor Swift turned 26 on the same day and flew back to Los Angeles after wrapping her 1989 world tour in Australia.
