It will be another crowded weekend at the multiplex as once again four new films make their debut in wide release. None is expected to do great business. Box-office pundits are even having a difficult time predicting which one will come out on top. They say it'll be a close race between Kick-Ass 2, whose title might describe what critics are doing to it, and Lee Daniels' The Butler, which is receiving much critical praise (except from some conservatives). Each is expected to take in around $18--23 million. Jobs, with Ashton Kutcher in the title role as the Apple founder, is also taking a critical beating and may not be able to crack $10 million, while Paranoia, which is receiving universally dreadful reviews, may simply be overlooked. Its distributor, Relativity Media, thinks it will earn around $4-6 million.
