British boyband Lawson cancelled their concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland at the last minute on Friday night (22Mar13) after the city was hit with power outages.
The When She Was Mine hitmakers had been due to take to the stage at Queens University Belfast, but bad weather affected local electricity supplies and they were ordered to axe the gig.
A series of posts on the band's Twitter.com page state, "Guys we are absolutely gutted tonight's show has to be cancelled. Power is out all over Belfast and for safety reasons we can't go ahead... But we Will be back!
"Tickets for tonight's show will be reissued at a later date and we will play you the best show we've ever played!! So annoyed that we were bested (sic) by the weather! Everyone get home safely and we will reschedule for as soon as we can. Love you Belfast."
The band took to the stage in Dublin, Ireland as planned on Saturday night (23Mar13) for the last night of the group's tour.
