Transgender rocker Laura Jane Grace is ready to tell the story of her life in a new memoir entitled Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock's Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout.
The Against Me! frontwoman has inked a deal with bosses at publisher Hachette, and worked with writer Dan Ozzi on the revealing tome.
"The book mixes narrative about Laura's life," Ozzi tells Entertainment Weekly, "growing up with dysphoria and playing our generation's most influential punk band - with amazing journal entries she's been keeping since she was a kid."
The rocker, formerly known as Tom Gabel, came out as transgender in 2012, and previously chronicled her journey in a webseries called So Much More.
The programme, or AOL's online video channel On Network, followed Grace on tour as she met other gender-variant people while facing the reality of her own transition.
Her memoir is slated for release on 15 November (16).
