The basketball player, whose four-year marriage to Khloe Kardashian is on the rocks due to his alleged addiction to crack cocaine, did not appear in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday (09.10.13) but his lawyer, Rich Hutton, entered the plea on his behalf.
Lamar was ordered to obey all laws, according to gossip website TMZ.com, and his pre-trial was also set for next month.
The former LA Lakers star, who is currently unsigned to a team, was arrested after he was stopped by the California Highway Patrol on August 30.
At the time of his arrest, a report compiled by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department claimed Lamar was pulled over after police officers saw him driving in as erratic manner.
The 33-year-old athlete was charged with one count of DUI when he failed several field sobriety tests.
His licence was also suspended for a year after he refused all chemical tests.
