Lamar Odom has reportedly told his Khloe Kardasian-Odom that the woman who claims to be his mistress is a groupie whom he has repeatedly turned down for sex.
The basketball player - who plays for the LA Clippers team - has allegedly told his wife that Jennifer Richardson is a fantasist who tries to bed players but he has never been romantically involved with her.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ''Lamar has told Khloe that Jennifer absolutely isn't his mistress, and that the two were never romantically involved, according to Lamar, Jennifer is a notorious NBA groupie, and follows various teams around during the season.''
The couple - who featured in their own 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' spin-of reality series - have been rocked by
Jennifer's sensational claims that Lamar began an affair with Jennifer in January 2012 before she broke it off in March this year.
She has claimed in an interview with Star magazine that Lamar, 33, told her he loved her and that they would meet up in different cities for sex when he was playing away matches.
However, the claims have been refuted by those close to Lamar while he and Khloe, 29, have refused to comment on her allegations.
The source explained : ''There are at least seven to 10 hardcore female groupies that follow the Clippers on the road. The women are actually friends, and know that most of their desired conquests are married. It doesn't faze them. For the ladies, it's all about hooking up with a player, and they are very aggressive in their pursuits.
''Jennifer has been relentless in her pursuit of Lamar. Khloe is aware of the temptations that Lamar faces out on the road, and she is choosing to believe him at this point.''
