Lady GaGa, Usher, and U2 stars Bono and The Edge will be among the artists honouring former U.S. President Bill Clinton at a charity gala next month (Oct11).
The stars will band together and take the stage at the Hollywood Bowl for the A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation event on 15 October (11), and the former leader admits he's grateful to have such an outpouring of support from today's big names.
In a statement to the Associated Press, he says, "(I'm) proud that some of today's most influential performers are coming together to raise awareness about the work of my foundation."
Clinton's humanitarian organisation was launched in 2001 in an effort to combat global climate change, childhood obesity and the Hiv/Aids pandemic, among other things.
