Congratulations to Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott and her drummer fiancee Chris Tyrell who tied the knot over the weekend in upstate New York. They made the news available on the country group's official website by way of a short video message which saw them appearing wearing matching t-shirts and looking delighted in each other's company.
CBS News reports that the pair appear hugging, with Tyrell introducing Scott as "Miss Hillary Scott Tyrell." Flashing her wedding ring, Scott exclaims "We're so excited to be starting our life together." The pair were caught in pictures on there wedding day, which took place on Saturday January 7th 2012, with Tyrell sporting a grey Ermenegildo Zegna suit and Scott sporting a strapless Vera Wang mermaid dress with a mantilla veil and lace applique. The pair met when both Lady Antebellum and Tyrell's band Love and Theft were on the same bill together in 2010 in support of Tim Mcgraw and began dating that summer. Tyrell proposed to Scott in July of last year on a family vacation in Tennessee.
The pair won't have too long to settle into married life, Lady Antebellum return to touring duties on January 27th in the US in a jaunt with over 50 dates booked right up until June.
