L'Wren Scott's grieving sister is hoping to take the tragic designer's body home to Utah, so she can be buried beside her late mother.
Mick Jagger's girlfriend was found dead from an apparent suicide in her New York apartment on Monday (17Mar14), and plans are being made for a family funeral.
Scott's older brother, Randall Bambrough, is reportedly in the Big Apple taking care of all the arrangements, and her sister Jan's husband Rob Shane has revealed that his wife is keen to transport the remains back to Utah, where the designer was raised.
Revealing his wife "literally collapsed" after learning of her sister's death, he says, "She was devastated. L'Wren and Jan were very close growing up and really up until the death of their mother six years ago."
He tells the New York Daily News, "Jan is hoping that Randy (Bambrough) will do the right thing and bring L'Wren back to Utah. The family has a plot at a cemetery in North Ogden, and she would like her sister buried by their parents."
Scott was named Laura 'Luann' Bambrough when she was adopted by Mormons Ivan and Lula Bambrough as a baby. She was raised in Roy, Utah alongside her fellow adopted siblings, Jan and Randall.
