Kylie Minogue 's Twitter experience has been soured of late, after it was revealed that the Australian singer has been suffering from online stalker attacks. The star is trying to celebrate 25 years since she released her debut single, the 1987 Uk Number Two 'Locomotion,' and for the most has been receiving pictures from her adoring fans of vintage Kylie moments, alongside the hashtag 'K25blastfromthepast'.
However she's evidently not been receiving pleasantries from everyone and the pop princess was moved to tweet "I love 1,033,861 of you Lovers, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted." The UK's Daily Mail reports that it's far from the first time Minogue's been stalked, unfortunately. In 2010 an Australian newspaper published pictures of a man thought to be of concern to Kylie's security team, whilst former post man Mark Taylor was reported to have sent the star lewd letters in the same year, among many other celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Penny Smith, Kate Lawler, Fearne Cotton, Lily Allen and Minogue's sister Dannii.
In 2003 meanwhile a "fan" sent over 700 letters to the star with each possessing an increasingly threatening tone. Kylie's been known for her devout fans, yet at times it's shocking to find out just how far they'll go. Nevertheless the star seems in good spirits, and so she should after 25 years in the music industry, most of them at the top.
