Kwes. Announces Debut Album 'Ilp'- Stream Album Track '36' Now [Listen]

Warp Records are pleased to announce the release of Kwes' debut album 'ilp.' 36, taken from the album, was premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night and you can listen to the full version on the link above. Kwes has been really busy since the release of his Meantime EP last year. He's toured with Bobby Womack's band which led to an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show, he's worked Womack, Damon Albarn, and Micachu - not to mention [being] sampled by Kanye West - all of which are a testament to Kwes' all-encompassing musical talents.

Kwes describes his own musical style as 'Free-Pop' which he defines as "pop songs or music that can go anywhere, and they can sometimes be very noisy, very quiet or somewhere in between. It's more an ever-changing creative processes with a few constants than a musical style."
