The actor attended a showing of the new Western from director Quentin Tarantino at Village East Cinema in New York City last week (ends22Nov15), but the screening came to a halt due to technical problems.

The movie was being shown on a vintage projector which broke down, and Kurt stepped in to take part in an impromptu question-and-answer session to keep guests entertained while technicians worked to fix the issue.

Kurt's The Hateful Eight co-star Walton Goggins also took part, according to the New York Post.

The Weinstein Company's Erik Lomis tells the publication, "A gear (in the projector) was stripped and then replaced in one hour."
