Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall has been forced to quit rock climbing amid fears the sport will wreck her guitar-playing hands. The Other Side of the World hitmaker, 32, has inherited her parents' love of the mountains, but she's reluctantly decided to put her hazardous hobby on hold for the sake of her career. She says, "My mum and dad met as climbers and I've done a little myself, including a course in Snowdonia. I love the mountains but I'm also aware of the dangers they present. "What worries me most is damaging my fingers. "At the moment, I can't afford to risk losing them to frostbite but I'd love to do more in the future."
