Rockers Korn and Breaking Benjamin's gig in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Tuesday (27Sep16) has been cancelled due to flood warnings.
The metal stars had been due to play the city's U.S Cellular Center, but executives at the venue announced on Facebook that the concert would not be going ahead.
"Due to the expectation of severe flooding in Downtown Cedar Rapids, the U.S. Cellular Center has announced that the Korn and Breaking Benjamin concert that was scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 has been cancelled," the statement read.
A post from Korn's official Twitter account confirmed news of the cancellation, with the band adding, "So sorry we won't be able to play for you!"
Thousands of Cedar Rapids residents have been forced to flee their homes after the Cedar River almost burst its banks on Sunday (25Sep16) in nearby Cedar Falls.
The river's water level is similar to 2008 when the region was hit by a flood which devastated the city.
U.S. Cellular bosses asked for understanding from ticketholders and offered them a full refund. Other acts who were due to appear on the bill included Motionless in White and Silver Snakes.
