A lawyer for sports star and model Kobe Bryant has slammed "baseless allegations" he injured a man during a clash at a church last week (ends14Aug11).
The basketball superstar was attending church in Carmel Valley, California on Sunday (14Aug11) when he allegedly grabbed a cell phone from a man he accused of trying to take photos of him and his family.
The male accuser, who has been named as Thomas Hagos by Bryant's attorney Mark Campbell, claims his wrist was injured during the altercation.
But now Campbell has spoken out in defence of Bryant, insisting the Los Angeles Lakers star is "aware of the baseless allegations asserted against him, and is prepared to defend against them fully".
San Diego police want to question Hagos about the alleged incident before taking any further action, according to Tmz.com.
