Kirstie Alley says she wants to score a 'nine' on Dancing With The Stars.Kirstie Alley, the American actress who is currently second on the Dancing With The Stars leader-board, says after scoring an 'eight' for her first routine she is now looking towards a 'nine', reports E! Online.The 60-year-old star of 'Cheers' shocked audience and judges alike when she delivered a near-perfect Cha-Cha routine during the season premiere of the reality dance contest on Monday (21st March 2011). After gaining a total score of 23 out of a possible 30, Alley was just one-point off the pace, with 'Karate Kid' Ralph Macchio receiving 24. Asked how she would move on from her opening night success, the actress said, "I did work hard, and I'm going to work harder now. I've had the taste of an eight, I want a nine". 49-year-old MACchio said he managed to overcome his nerves with help from the live studio audience, saying, "Having that kind of fan response was motivating - it was live theatre at its best". His partner Karina Smirnoff agreed, saying, "It's worth every hour and every pain of rehearsal".
Kirstie Alley's debut performance looks certain to keep her safe from the first public elimination, which takes place on 29th March 2011.
