Kings Of Leon have revealed they have already started working on songs for their next album.
The band said they have been developing new ideas for songs during the soundchecks for their current UK tour.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, drummer Nathan Followill said they already have "four or five" songs written for the next album, pointing out that the month long tour will provide 25 soundchecks for developing new ideas.
"You can get up there and at least work on ideas and kind of pick the direction you want to go in for the next record," he said.
He added that the new songs are sounding more "upbeat" than the anthemic songs on their current hit album ONLY BY THE NIGHT, which has already produced a number one single with SEX ON FIRE.
"It's more like just us up there, having fun, just playing fun stuff," he said.
Elsewhere, frontman Caleb Followill recently admitted to suffering from anorexia when he was a teenager.
