Kim Kardashian West's daughter loves swimming.

The 33-year-old reality TV star admits 14-month-old North is a natural in the water and she enjoys watching the youngster splash about in her weekly lessons.

Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: ''It's so fun to see her take swim class. She loves the water in general - she really likes to have fun.''

The brunette beauty believes the toddler's biggest milestone to date is learning to walk and she and her husband Kanye West, 37, are glad they were both there to witness their daughter take her first steps last month.

She recalled the special moment: ''She was so excited to have this apple that she would swim around the pool to get it. Then we took her out, and she just walked [her first steps] toward the apple! We were like, 'She walked!' It was so exciting!''

Kim announced the little one had walked for the first time unaided on her Instagram account shortly after the event in July.

She posted an adorable picture of her kissing North, who was wrapped in a yellow towel, along with the caption: ''Our baby girl finished one week of swimming lessons today then took her 1st steps right when she got out of the pool!!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you!!!! Photo cred: Daddy (sic).''

Meanwhile, not only has North surprised Kim with her swimming ability, she's also developed an obsession with music and loves joining her father Kanye in the recording studio.

A source said previously: ''She loves music and is obsessed with hearing it in the studio.''
