Kim Kardashian has signalled her intention to run for the Mayor of Glendale, California within five years. The 31-year-old socialite - who is reportedly dating rapper Kanye West - tells sister Khloe the news during an episode of 'Khloe and Lamar', reports the New York Daily News.
As the sisters drive past the former presidential candidate Ross Perot's museum in Dallas, Kim tells Khloe, "I decided I'm going to run for the mayor of Glendale. You have to have a full residency in Glendale. For real, Noelle is going to head my campaign but it's going to be in like five years. So I have to buy a house there, you have to have residency there". It is understood Kim was referring to her close friend Noelle Keshishian. The reality star has reportedly chosen the Los Angeles county city because of its large Armenian population - her father Robert was a third generation Armenian American. Reactions to the news has been mixed, with one user writing on Twitter, "There goes my hometown", while another offered, "Kim Kardashian wants to run for mayor of Glendale, CA in 2017. In related news, I am leaving the country in 2017".
