The Keeping Up With the Kardashians beauty welcomed her second child, son Saint, on 5 December (15), and she promptly signed up to become an Atkins diet spokesperson in January (16) to help her slim down.

Kanye West's wife had previously claimed she had piled on 52 pounds (23.6 kilograms) in her latest pregnancy, and in early April (16), as she made her red carpet return in Las Vegas, she admitted slimming down again had been really tough.

"It's a challenge, it's not easy at all...," Kim told E! News. "You know, I have about 20 pounds to go. It really is hard. It's not easy. I gained a lot of weight and I have a lot to lose..."

She even admitted she was "praying" her last bit of baby weight would soon melt away: "I think this time, more weight has come off quicker than last time because I kind of learned how to eat better," she explained. "Last time, I worked out a little bit harder. This time I'm eating differently. So I'm doing the Atkins diet and it's just like, I'm so militant about it that I just started working out really hard and I think that the mix of the two will help this last 20 pounds, hopefully, fly off. I'm praying."

Now it appears Kim's prayers - and dedication to her diet - have worked as she showed off her current weight in a photo on Snapchat on Wednesday (27Apr16). The image was of Kim's feet as she stood on a digital scale, which displayed her weight as 139.6 pounds (63.3 kilograms).

"YOU GUYS!!!!! PRE BABY WEIGHT WAS 135!!!!!" the mother-of-two exclaimed.

Last month (Mar16), as Kim kept her fans updated on her progress, she revealed looking back at photos of herself a year after giving birth to her daughter North, now two, was giving her the extra motivation she needed to stick to her strict work out regime.

"I look back at photos like this that kind of inspire me," she wrote beside an old picture of her slender figure. "I remember, 'I did it then, I can do it now,' and I have to be patient. This was, like, a year after I had North. It's still motivating to me."
