Khloe launched her new line of denim, Good American, with designer pal Emma Grede in October (16), and now it appears it was the biggest denim launch in apparel history.

In a press release confirming the sales success, the 32-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur writes: "I'm so happy with the success we have had in the last month, but we have so far to go. This is only the beginning."

The Good American jeans collection, which features all sizes, is available from U.S. stores beginning at $149 (£118). Khloe and Emma hope to expand the line in 2017 to include other denim items.

"What's really encouraging is the customer response," Khloe adds. "When people try the jeans they fall in love. The reviews speak for themselves and that's something I am really proud of. We've created a product that works on a girl who's size 00 and looks equally great in a size 24."

Just after the Good American launch, Kim Kardashian's sister revealed she was inspired to create a new jeans line after struggling to find great denim to fit her prior to her recent weightloss.

"I was what I would say is average size at the time," she said. "I was very proud of who I was, and I felt, like, so shamed at the time, to go into boutiques or to go denim shopping. It was something that was super hard for me.

"I remember the chubby girl in me, and I'm fighting for my chubby self," she added. "It wasn't about having a new denim line... It was about doing something that empowers other women, and something that is really going to break down barriers."
