Director Kevin Smith is delighted by the mediocre reviews for his new movie CLERKS II, because they remind him of the feedback he has received from lovers. The maverick film-maker is happily settled down with wife JENNIFER SCHWALBACH, but he admits he was never showered with glowing superlatives from previous conquests. And the reviews for his sequel to his 1994 breakthrough movie perfectly reflect his ability as a lover, so he is more than pleased. He says, "'Respectable', 'Good', 'Passable', 'Lukewarm', not exactly enthusiastic buzzwords - more like the way any woman who's ever been goodly enough to sleep with me has reviewed my swordsmanship. "Was Clerks II worth the effort? F**k yes!"
