The Ride Along star has teamed up with bosses at Lionsgate to create Laugh Out Loud, which will feature exclusive content not relating to his films or live touring events. The first project through the partnership will be a hidden-camera prank show with Kevin going undercover as a driver for app-based taxi service Lyft.

It is unclear how much the the online service will cost, but it will launch this autumn (16).

"Lionsgate has always been a great partner of mine, and I'm more than excited to take our business and creative relationship to new levels," Hart said in a statement. "I understand the direction in which the television business is headed, and I see this big new space toward which audiences are starting to gravitate."

In addition to the streaming service, Kevin will launch a tablet game, in which he will help players become "comedic rock stars".

The 36-year-old follows in the footsteps of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who has scored a huge international hit with her own game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which has reportedly brought in over $100 million (£71 million) since its launch in 2014.

Other stars to have signed deals to produce games include Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Shakira, and Nicki Minaj.
