Kevin Federline has finally won music industry backing for his much publicised fledgling career as a rapper after signing a deal with record label giant Sony BMG. The much maligned husband of Britney Spears, who previously worked as a backing dancer, set up his own company, Federation Records, recently after being unilaterally snubbed. But the 28-year-old's debut live performance of his first single LOSE CONTROL at America's Teen Choice Awards last month (20AUG06) changed some opinions, reports AllHipHop.com, with Sony BMG signing a deal to back Federation Records. Federline's debut album PLAYING WITH FIRE will hit shops in the US on 31 October (06).
