The singer stopped at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan for his Spread the Love Tour on Saturday and couldn't resist bringing the rocker, who hails from the city, onstage for a medley.

"He is my brother in music, in life, and he's from Detroit, Michigan," Chesney told the crowd. "Please welcome Kid Rock!"

The crowd went wild as Kid Rock graced the stage wearing a fedora and a Detroit Lions vest jacket. They kicked off the duet with a cover of The Allman Brothers Band classic Midnight Rider before segueing into Rock's hit Cowboy and ended their segment with David Allan Coe's You Never Even Called Me By My Name, according to Billboard.com.

Chesney, who is gearing up to release his next album Cosmic Hallelujah in October (16), has four dates remaining on his tour, which concludes just outside of Boston, Massachusetts on 27 August (16).
