BIG + RICH star Kenny Alphin has just returned from a low-key mercy mission to Sudan with his wife. The colourful country star helped deliver medical and school supplies, musical instruments and clothing to the Kunyuk School for Girls in Akon. The Alphins became patrons of the school after donating $50,000 (GBP25,000) to a charity that assists and protects Sudanese women. The money came from the singer/songwriter's portion of royalties he received from penning Tim MCGraw's Last Dollar (Fly Away). As a result of the couple's support, the Kunyuk School has swelled from 250 pupils to over 1,000. He is now planning to return to perform for the kids, stating, "I would spend every nickel I could get my hands on to help these people."
