Kendra Wilkinson has overcome postpartum depression.

The former Playboy model suffered with the condition after giving birth to her first son, Hank Jr. – now 20 months - with husband Hank Baskett, but regaining her pre-pregnancy body helped her overcome it.

She told "After I had a baby, I felt like I had to be a different person.

"I had to be conservative and wear turtlenecks and be someone that I wasn't.

"Now that I have my body back and I feel good again, I have the perfect amount of balance. It's all about finding the balance."

Reality TV star Kendra, 26, admitted she began to struggle when she was devoting all of her attention to her newborn and also felt under pressure about how her own looks because of her work as a model.

She added: "Motherhood is a big change in life and it happened overnight.

"At the time I was doing whatever I could for the baby, but I lost myself and it was really frustrating.

"Being in the spotlight is a lot of pressure about losing the weight, especially coming from the Playboy world."

Kendra has since written a book, 'Being Kendra: Cribs, Cocktails, and Getting My Sexy Back', which she hopes will help other women affected by postpartum depression.
