ROLLING STONES star Keith Richards is terrified of a backlash when the band's new album A BIGGER BANG is released in the US, because it scathingly attacks President George W Bush and right-wing Americans.

The veteran guitarist is dreading September (05) when the disc hits US shelves, because he fears lyrics on SWEET NEO CON will enrage Americans - and as he lives in the States, he expects to bear the brunt of their fury.

The lyrics, according to Newsweek Magazine, include the inflammatory words: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite / You call yourself a patriot, well, I think you're full of s**t."
