Irish singer Keith Duffy fears he'll feel "lonely" onstage during Boyzone's upcoming tour - because his late bandmate Stephen Gately always gave him a boost during live shows.
The 33 year old was found dead in 2009 at the home he shared with his partner Andrew Cowles in Majorca, Spain.
Gately's passing hit his bandmates hard but they're gearing up to head out on the road for their first tour as a four-piece next month (Feb11) - and Duffy admits he is worried about how they'll cope without their pal.
He tells Britain's The People, "Now Stephen's gone I'm not sure how I feel about getting back on stage. It's the first time we'll perform without him and I'm quite concerned about how it's going to be.
"I can't imagine for one minute it's going to be easy. It'll be tough but we'll give it our best shot. We just have to be honest with ourselves. If it's not working, it's not working.
"Stephen was always on the same side of the stage as me and we had a lot of banter during the performance so I think I'll probably feel a bit lonely. He carried me and I carried him. You understand each other without saying anything and that's an awful lot to lose."
The Brother tour kicks off in Liverpool, England on 21 February (11).
