Irish singer Keith Duffy is quitting his role in a top British soap opera to focus on his music career with Boyzone.
The 35 year old recently rejoined longrunning show Coronation Street to revive his role as heart-throb Ciaran MCCarthy, which he first played for two years from 2003.
But he's decided to leave the series again and commit to his duties with the Irish boyband.
He tells Britain's Sunday People, "I need to concentrate on being with the boys. We've got a lot coming up so I've decided they'll take priority.
"I love the show so it's been a hard decision. But I know it's right. I've made lots of friends on the show so it will be bad to leave them, but I have to commit to the band."
The boyband revealed earlier this month (Mar10) they are preparing to tour again soon, following the death of singer Stephen Gately in October (09).
