The stars of British movie Atonement Keira Knightley and James McAvoy made up for disappointment at the BAFTAS by scooping the top honours at the Elle Style Awards. Both Knightley and MCAvoy failed to win gold at Sunday's (10Feb08) star-studded ceremony for their roles in the romantic drama but were instead hailed as movie style icons at the awards held by British magazine Elle on Tuesday (12Feb08) night. Knightley picked up the best actress prize while her co-star MCAvoy landed the best actor honour at the event held in Notting Hill, West London. Other stars to receive nods for their A-list dress sense included pop star Kylie Minogue who was handed the Woman of the Year award and Kate Hudson who received the coveted Elle Style Icon trophy for her "distinctive and kooky" fashion choices. There were also awards for TV presenter Kelly Osbourne, singer Kate Nash, model Agyness Deyn and designer Anya Hindmarch who was honoured for outstanding achievement.
