Katy Perry has topped the UK's singles chart with I Kissed a Girl.

Perry knocked last week's number one, Kid Rock and All Summer Long, off the top spot to repeat her success in the US chart.

I Kissed a Girl is Perry's debut single and is number one based on downloads sales alone.

Another previous number one, Dizzee Rascal's Dance Wiv Me, featuring Calvin Harris and Chrome, charted at number three in the official singles chart this week.

At number four was The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script and The Verve's Love is Noise made up the top five.

At six in this week's chart was Noah and Whale and Five Years Time.

And No Air by Jordan Sparks, featuring Chris Brown, was the seventh biggest single in the UK.

At eight in the chart was Neo and Closer, while Rihanna's Disturbia was at number nine with by Basshunter's All I Ever Wanted making up the top ten.

Abba's Greatest Hits also remained on top in the album chart.
