Katy Perry has yet to sign a deal to launch her own clothing line and is too busy to focus on her fashion plans at the moment.
Katy Perry won't be launching a fashion line any time soon.
The 'California Gurls' singer - who launches her third scent, Killer Queen, in August - insists she is focusing on her music career and her fragrances and hasn't even had time to think about creating her own clothing brand yet.
She told WWD: ''I would like to [branch into fashion], but this circus act can only juggle so many balls. It's to be determined, but we'll see how it goes. It's a long process, and I want to find the right place for me.
''Nothing is [currently] being created; there aren't even sketches on the table, nor a contract.''
While most celebrities endorse products to ensure pop longevity, Katy insisted her new perfume is an exception.
She said: ''I just hope to put out a real quality project that competes, and competes beyond the celebrity fragrances. We're making a product that really stands out on its own, beyond my name.''
Katy revealed the ''sophisticated'' but ''supersexy'' scent pays homage to legendary band Queen's hit song 'Killer Queen'.
The 28-year-old star explained: ''She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in. I feel like I'm falling, finally, into that woman Freddie [Mercury] painted.''
Killer Queen follows on from the success of her last two perfumes - a floral scent called Purr by Katy Perry in November 2010 and a gourmand fragrance, Meow, in 2011.
