Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder and Bon Jovi hit the stage to perform for U.S. President Barack Obama in Los Angeles on Sunday night (07Oct12).

Earth, Wind & Fire also played at the 30 Days to Victory concert at the Nokia Theater to pull in last-minute donations for Obama's campaign, ahead of the U.S. elections next month (Nov12).

Obama was the guest of honour at the sold-out event, where actor George Clooney also made a special appearance to introduce Wonder.

Perry took to Twitter.com to show off her patriotic manicure, featuring the President's face, writing, "Appropriate nails... Today I am so honoured to play for the President!"

After the show, Obama headed next door to Wolfgang Puck's chic Wp24 for an exclusive dinner where Vip guests paid $25,000 (£15,625) per plate.

It is estimated the two events pulled in as much as $5 million (£3.1 million) for Obama.
